KOBE BRYANT – 1978-2020

Sunday morning January 26, 2020 a mere 26th days into the futures newest decade Was n unusually overcast, foggy morning, a sparse rarity in the typically picturesk sunny Southern California town of Calabasas. however This morning would change the sports world forever and prove to be the most tragic Beginning to any new year as far as I can remember. January 26, 2020 world was awakened with the Time-stopping shocking news that NBA legend Kobe Bryant had died in a helicopter crash while in route to coach his 13 year old daughters basketball game.

Refreshingly, what was expected of her was the same thing that was expected of Lara Stone: to take a beautiful picture.

The tragic news of this horrific accident only became worse as the hours since the initial report progressed, as it was then announced that Bryant’s 13 year old daughter was also a passenger in the helicopter along with 7 other people all of whom were presumed deceased.

Out of the utmost respect for Bryant and seeing as we all know the details of the tragic events of that day thanks to the tasteless near real-time social-media reporting of a certain classless news outlet whose bottom line is generated via shoot from the hip digital gossip rather than well thought out journalistic Morality, I will refrain from delving any deeper into this tragic event and simply end this post by saying.

HeRoes get remembered, legends never Die.
